Tom was the first player that we sponsored and it was before he became a director of VX International.

We sponsored Tom as he was at the top of the tree and is the epitome of the VX player.  He puts an immense amount of thought into his game and as a coach.  He is a calm, cool player with excellent all-round skills.  He is still one of the top three players - with these three it is just what happens on the day as to which one comes out on top.

Tom is a great ambassador for the sport and we were delighted to recognise this with sponsorship and we were delighted when he later joined us as a Director.

We sponsored Charlie when he was still a Youth Player as we wanted to invest in youth.  We had hopes that Charlie would become Youth World Champion - and he very nearly did!  He got runner-up in 2014.  He was unlucky to come up against Tom Brown who won the title three times in a row!

Charlie is still playing and is a member or the all-conquering York Phoenix Team so he has amassed a good collection of titles and trophies.  We are also delighted that he is still competing at the highest level in V2.

We are very pleased to have been able to maintain our relationship with Charlie for so long.
